Studio policies and guidelines

How do you handle lesson payments, cancellations, and rescheduling?

Tuition is non-refundable and varies based on the number of lessons per week and weeks per month. Payment is due before the first lesson of each month. For absences during summer holidays session, lessons continue with credits or makeup lessons available if 24-hour notice is provided. This policy adheres to MTNA recommendations and is strictly enforced for all students and parents.

What can students and parents expect from the teacher and the studio environment?

As your teacher, I offer patient, individualized instruction tailored to each student's pace, learning style, and musical interests. You can expect clear communication, regular progress updates, and achievable milestones. I combine formal music education with real-world teaching experience, balancing discipline with fun. Students will have opportunities for performance and confidence building through recitals and optional festivals. Our studio is a welcoming, focused, and organized space with comfortable seating for parents. We use tech-enhanced learning tools like metronome apps and digital theory games, and provide a resource-rich environment with sheet music and practice guides. We foster a positive, mistake-friendly culture where every lesson ends with a specific win, ensuring no shaming or pressure.
